Arizona takes on Belmont in a very intriguing matchup that has many experts thinking upset in the Round of 64. Get college basketball odds at Bovada sportsbook.
Arizona (25-7) just lost seven games this season and early in the season was ranked in the top 5. They pounded Miami in an early season tournament and started the year 14-0. Their first loss was a non-conference loss at Oregon by just four points and then lost to UCLA at home a couple games later. Since then, they lost two sets of two games in a row to California and Colorado, then USC and UCLA. Arizona was knocked out of the Pac-12 tournament in controversial fashion to UCLA in the semi-final. Sean Miller has done a good job coaching this season but Arizona could definitely be on the ropes in this Round of 64 game.
Belmont (26-6) is no stranger to the NCAA Tournament as they have made five appearances since 2006. They have yet to win a game but definitely gave some top teams a scare. The Bruins lost to Duke by just one in 1 and put up fights against Wisconsin and Georgetown in the last two seasons. Belmont is number two in the country when it comes to two-point field-goal percentage and have beat Stanford, Middle Tennessee State, and South Dakota State.
Arizona is 14-16 against the spread and 7-3 in non-conference games. Belmont is 14-15 ATS and 5-6 in non-conference games.
I am not picking an upset here. I love what Belmont can do and these kids shouldn’t be overwhelmed by the hype because they have been there the past two seasons. Arizona coach Sean Miller always has his teams playing their best in March so take the Wildcats but first pick up sportsbook promo codes.
