The Atlanta Braves in the Miami Marlins square off tonight from Turner Field. All odds for all game can be conveniently found at Top Bet sportsbook.
The Marlins have been pretty lifeless much of the second half of the season, but showed some sparks last night. Although they still lost to Atlanta, they still put an effort forth that they should be proud of. On the mound tonight for the Marlins will be Josh Johnson who has actually been pitching pretty well lately, but it has not led to wins because of the suspect Marlins offense. His last 10 starts have been stellar as he is allowed more than three runs only one time. In that span however he is only 2-6 as the run support has been anemic.
The Braves have been playing great baseball the last couple of weeks as they try to catch the Nationals for the division lead. While it looks like they are a lock for the playoffs they are keeping her foot on the gas to catch the Nats. They have won 8 of 11 games after their win yesterday versus the Marlins and will look to continue their hot play tonight. They will start lefty Paul Maholm tonight. Maholm has struggled lately and the Braves will look to get back on track in time for playoffs.
Without a doubt Johnson is the better pitcher in this game. Also without a doubt is the fact the Braves are a much better team. Since the Braves clinched a playoff spot yesterday with there win, we are banking on a little bit of a hangover. Take the Marlins as moneyline underdogs with Johnson but first check sports odds.
