The Oklahoma City Thunder host the Atlanta Hawks tonight in an interconference matchup. NBA odds are posted at Oddsmaker sportsbook.
The Oklahoma City Thunder rebounded from a season opening loss at San Antonito to roll past the visiting Portland Trail Blazers 106-92 on Friday night to record their first win of the season. A night after Tony Parker hit the game winning shot in San Antonio, the Thunder came out strong against the Trail Blazers and never looked back, outscoring them in all four quarters. Russell Westbrook led the way with 32, Kevin Durant had 23 points with 17 rebounds and veteran newcomer Kevin Martin added 19 of his own.
The new look Atlanta Hawks also suffered a defeat in their first match of the season as they fell to James Harden and the Houston Rockets 109-102 on Friday night. Atlanta wasn’t entirely bad in their home opener, but they were helpless to stop James Harden as he went off for a career high 45 points on just 19 shots. On the Hawks side of things, new comer Lou Williams top scored for the home team with 22 points off the bench in his first game as a Hawk, while Josh Smith added 18.
Although we feel OKC will definitely win this game tonight at home we think Atlanta will come out motivated. The spread in this game is pretty substantial and we think Atlanta will be able to keep the game close enough in the end to cover so pick up sportsbook promotion codes.
