In a matchup featuring the last two national champions, the Auburn Tigers (3-8) take on Alabama (10-1) in the Iron Bowl on Saturday at 3:30 ET. College football odds are available at Oddsmaker sportsbook.
Auburn’s season has not turned out how they wanted it to, and it will probably cost them their coach’s job. At one point this season, they dropped five in a row, and only have wins against weaker non-conference opponents. The Tigers are 3-8 SU and 4-7 ATS for the season, and have a 38 point loss to Georgia, a 42 point loss to A&M, and a 21 point loss to Ole Miss.
After suffering a five point home loss to Texas A&M two weeks ago, the Tide found them right back in the same situation after last week’s upsets. They again control their own destiny, and with a win Saturday and in the SEC title game, will have earned a spot in the BCS Championship Game in Miami. For the season, they are 10-1 SU and 5-6 ATS.
Alabama is a 33 point favorite, and while Auburn has looked terrible, only the prolific offenses of Georgia and A&M were really able to run it up on them. Look for the Tigers to go out with a bit of a fight, but still lose handedly late, but not by 5 TD’s. Take the Tigers +33, War Eagle so get those sportsbook promo codes.
