The Florida St Seminoles enter play with a 13-0 undefeated straight up record on the season. Auburn is 12-1 straight up with their only loss coming against LSU on the road by 14 points. Since that loss to LSU the Tigers have been a much improved college football team. Behind quarterback Nick Marshall and running back Tre Mason the Auburn Tigers have developed one of the better running attacks seen in recent memory. It is very difficult to average 335 rushing yards and posting the number one rushing offense in the SEC conference when the teams plays against some of the better defenses in all of college football. Many had questioned about the passing ability of Nick Marshall. Alabama was looking to take away from Tigers run game and force Marshall to make plays in the passing game. Alabama was up 28-21 late in the fourth quarter. Auburn had the ball in the closing seconds. The ball was on the 39 yard line as Alabama was geared in stopping the run. Nick Marshall made a play as he threw a 39 yard touchdown pass to Sammie Coates to tie the game at 28-28 to save the Tigers chances at making the BCS Title game. Florida St is undefeated but did not play the quality of opponents that Auburn faced in a week to week period. This great Florida St defense did give up 34 points to the Boston College Eagles. Boston College was able to pile up 200 yards rushing on the Seminoles offense. Andre Williams ran for 149 yards and if he can have success on the FSU defense so can Auburn.
With our college football pick for Monday we will play on the Auburn Tigers at +10 points against the Florida St Seminoles at the online sports books.
