The Baltimore Orioles and the Texas Rangers will take the field in game two of their series from Texas. All odds for all sports can be found at Bovada sportsbook.
The Orioles have fallen to third place in the wild-card standings due to the hot play of the Tampa Bay Rays. They have been playing well lately however, but they have struggled on offense at times as they did on Monday in a 5-1 loss to the Rangers. Their bats struggled big-time yesterday as the only highlight was an Adam Jones RBI single. Tonight the Orioles will look to rebound behind Chris Tillman who has pitched reasonably well all season, but struggled in his last two outings. In his last two outings he has given up 9 runs in 10 innings.
Texas is in first place in their division, but have not been playing as well lately as they did earlier in the season. They are still however 21 games above the .500 mark and have won 4 of 5 games. The bats on Monday blasted 10 hits en route to the win. The Rangers will pitch Scott Feldman tonight who is coming off losses in his last two starts. The Rangers hope to get quality outings from him going forward.
Feldman is looking to bounce back in a big way to contribute down the stretch and we think he will pitch well tonight at home versus the Orioles. Take the Rangers as a run spread winner tonight versus Baltimore at best sports books.
