The Baltimore Orioles travel to the windy city for the fourth of July for a date with the White Sox. Zach Britton and Jose Quintana are the scheduled starters. For MLB odds give a peek to Top Bet sportsbook.
The Orioles have continued their great season last year into this year as they are currently in second place in the AL East, just 3.5 games back of the Red Sox. They have won five of their last ten games and are 22-20 on the road this season. Zach Britton will be making his fifth start of the season. He is 2-2 with a 4.50 ERA and 1.73 WHIP in two road and two home starts. He tossed 5 2/3 innings in his last appearance against the Yankees, giving up six hits and two earned runs. On the road he has tossed 11 1/3 innings giving up 15 hits and seven earned runs.
The White Sox enter in last place in the AL Central, 10.5 games behind Cleveland for first place. They have won just four of their last ten games and are 18-19 at home. Quintana comes in with a 3-2 record, 3.97 ERA and 1.26 WHIP in 93 innings this season. Over his last ten games he has only received three decisions, a 1-2 record. In his last start against the Indians he tossed six innings, giving up five hits and four earned runs while surrendering three walks. He has not won at home since a May 21st start against the Boston Red Sox.
I’ll side with the road Orioles in this game as they are clearly the better team and should come out victorious and to play Baltimore Click Here.
