The Los Angeles Angels travel to Baltimore to take on the Orioles in the second of a three game set. Miguel Gonzalez and Jason Vargas are the scheduled starters. Check MLB odds at Oddsmaker sportsbook.
Los Angeles lost yesterday in game one 4-3 after an extended rain delay. Josh Hamilton did turn things around for himself however, homering and driving in to. They turn to Vargas tonight who enters the matchup with a 5-3 record and 3.71 ERA. He has won his last five decisions, however got hit around in his last appearance against the Cubs. In five innings of work he surrendered 11 hits giving up five runs, striking out four. In Vargas’ last appearance on the road in Kansas City, he pitched 7/13 innings giving up five hits and two earned runs while walking four. As a team, the Angels have won six out of his last seven starts. They have split their last four road games and are just three for their last ten overall.
The O’s send Miguel Gonzalez to the mound who comes in with a 3-2 record, with a 4.05 ERA and 1.30 WHIP. He has just one decision (a win) in his last four games pitched. That win came in his last start in Houston where he pitched six innings giving up just five hits and one earned run striking out seven. Only one of his three wins this season have come at home. As a team, the Orioles have won seven of their last ten and are 15-13 at home including four out of their last six at Camden Yards.
I’m siding with the Orioles at home. They have played well as of late and I do not trust the Angels on the road so claim sportsbook promo codes.
