The Orioles and the Angels kick off a four game series in Los Angeles. Get MLB odds at Bovada sportsbook.
The Orioles (16-12) are struggling and have lost three of their last four games. Their last seven games have been played on the road and now they will have to go play four more in Los Angeles before being able to come back to Baltimore. The Orioles are playing decent on the road in this road trip at 4-3 but are entering this game in a bit of a slump. Chris Davis is the star on the offensive end so far this season for the Orioles and is leading the team in a lot of major categories. Davis is hitting .337 this season and has nine home runs. In addition to all of this, Davis has 28 RBI’s, which leads his team by a significant amount.
The Angels (10-17) have now lost six of their last eight and are struggling mightily at this point of the season. The Angels finally took a win from the Athletics in the third game of the series by the score of 5-4. Peter Bourjos is averaging .313 on the season, leads the team, and Albert Pujols has 18 RBI’s. Joe Blanton will start on Thursday for the Angels and is 0-4 in five starts this season. Blanton has an ERA of over 7.
The Orioles are 17-10 against the spread while the Angels are 13-14 ATS.
Joe Blanton has been awful this year and I think it will continue in this one against the Orioles. Orioles win this one at www.sportsbookroom.com.
