The Orioles look to keep their latest success against the Yankees going when they travel to Toronto to play the Blue Jays. Find MLB odds at Top Bet sportsbook.
Baltimore (25-21) won their last two games, both against the Yankees, and now look to take that with them to Toronto. Those two wins ended a rough six game losing streak that they suffered against the San Diego Padres, Tampa Bay Rays and one against the Yankees. Those wins were much needed for the Orioles, who are looking to get back in to the playoffs after last year’s impressive performance. As of now, the Orioles are third in the American League East and need to improve on that in the last two-thirds of the season. Kevin Gausman is the projected starter for Baltimore against the Blue Jays on Thursday.
The Blue Jays (19-27) sit in last in that AL East but are not too far off the .500 mark. They won two of their last three, all against the Rays at home. Toronto has been pretty streaky thus far and cannot seem to get in to their groove. Brandon Morrow has made eight starts this year and has a 1-3 record. Morrow will make the start on Thursday against Baltimore.
The Orioles are 24-22 against the spread and the Blue Jays are 21-25 ATS. Toronto is just 10-14 against the spread when they are playing in their home stadium.
This pitching matchup is not one of the most popular duels of the season, but I will pick the Orioles in this game. Their offense is a lot stronger than the Blue Jays’ so to take Baltimore Click Here.
