In a rematch of last year’s AFC Championship game, the Baltimore Ravens (12-6) take on the New England Patriots (13-4) Sunday at 6:30ET. NFL playoff odds are at Bovada sportsbook.
Baltimore is coming off an emotional double overtime win last week in Denver that brought their record for the year to 12-6 SU and 8-9-1 ATS. They have covered both playoff games so far, after only covering once in their final five regular season games. Their offense is playing at a high level right now, averaging 31 points per game in the playoffs. Their defense has typically been able to slow down Tom Brady and the Patriots in the past, although they did give up 30 points to New England in a 31-30 win back in September.
New England came into the playoffs firing on all cylinders and is currently 13-4 SU and 10-7 ATS for the season. They finished the regular season with only one loss in their final couple months, and that was a come from behind thriller against San Francisco that came up just short. The Patriots are no stranger to laying large numbers though, and have laid more than a touchdown to their opponents in eight of their past ten games.
New England is an 8 point favorite. Baltimore gives this team fits and was a dropped touchdown away from the Super Bowl last season. Look for Baltimore to win this game outright, so take the Ravens +8 but first check the sports odds.
