In Super Bowl XLVII, the Baltimore Ravens collide with the San Francisco 49ers Sunday at 6:30ET. NFL odds are available at Bovada sportsbook.
The Baltimore Ravens come into the Super Bowl the hard way, having won three games this postseason, as well as having to deal with heartbreak over the past five seasons. For the year, they are 13-6 SU and 9-9-1 ATS. They come into the game relatively healthy, and other then two special team touchdowns giving up in Denver, their defense has looked superb in the playoffs. Their offense is averaging 30 points in these playoffs as well. Their game plan will be to generate disruption up front, while playing a matchup zone, which should keep the read option in check. On offense, they will use their running game to set up their deep shots down the field.
San Francisco had to overcome a 17-0 deficit in the NFC Championship game to earn their spot in the big game. For the year, they are 13-4-1 SU and 11-7 ATS. During the season, their defense has gotten much of the press, however, it is has been their offense that has lead the way in this playoffs. San Francisco will again employ the read option, but the question is who will be the focal point. In the Green Bay game, it was the Kaepernick. Against the Falcons, it was Frank Gore. On the defensive side, they should have some question marks. They have had no pass rush since Justin Smith got hurt, and they have given up 27.5 points per game in the playoffs.
San Francisco is a 4 point favorite. The Niners’ bag of tricks on offense is empty. Baltimore will figure out how to stop this offense. Take the Ravens +4 but first check out online sportsbook reviews.
