The Boston Red Sox head to Toronto for a weekend series with the Toronto Blue Jays. All up to date odds for this game can be found at Just Bet sportsbook.
The Red Sox look as though they may be rounding into shape going 7-3 in their last 10 games. Overall they are just one game above .500, but things are looking a lot better than they did a couple weeks ago. Outside of yesterday in a loss to the Tigers the offense has really been producing. They will send Clay Buchholz to the mound tonight in Toronto to start the series. Buchholz only has two quality starts thus far in 2012 and has struggled. As a matter of fact, he has let up at least four runs in eight of his ten starts this season.
The Blue Jays are coming off of a 3-game sweep of the Orioles and look to take off from there. They started the season off well, hit a rough patch, but now look as they may be turning it around for real. They dominated the O’s outscoring them 18-9 in their recent series. Henderson Alvarez will start for the Blue Jays tonight. He is coming off two subpar outings. In 10 innings in his last two starts he has let up 18 hits.
This a tough game to predict because of the fact that Buchholz has been so inconsistent so far this season. We will take some small action on the home underdog and take the Blue Jays M/L in this one at best online sportsbooks.
