The Boston Celtics (5-3) take on the Brooklyn Nets (4-2) Thursday night at 8:00 ET. NBA odds are at Bovada sportsbook.
The Celtics are riding a three game win streak and are 5-1 since dropping their first two games this year. For the year, they are 5-3 SU and a woeful 2-5-1 ATS. They started the year by dropping their first five games ATS, but have since gone 2-0-1 with road wins at Milwaukee and Chicago, and home victory against the Jazz. Thursday night’s game against the Nets will be their second in as many nights.
The Nets are also sporting a three game win streak and are 4-2 SU for the year, with a 3-2-1 ATS mark. Their performances have been all over the map, scoring as little as 73 points the Heat and as many as 114 against Cleveland. They won a game when only putting up 82 points, while also only allowing 68 points in a contest.
Brooklyn is a 3 point home favorite. With a team as schizophrenic as the Nets, it is hard to handicap them. For the long run, you will do better to play against those teams, so take the Celtics and the points at sports books.
