This is a tough spot for the Brooklyn Nets as they travel from New York to Chicago on a back to back after playing Charlotte on Wednesday night. Brooklyn has played better basketball of late but the team has played a lot of home games. In their past two road games they lose by 16 at a bad Detroit team and drop a contest at Indiana. With Brooklyn on a back to back one must remember that this is an old roster feature former Celtics who had problems in back to backs in their days with Boston. We are speaking specifically of Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett who are two starters in the Nets rotation. It’s hard to trust them in back to backs especially in this long road trip from New York to Chicago overnight. The Nets have had problems defending the perimeter this season as they rank 29th and second to last in three point field goal defense as opponents make 38% from beyond the arc against them. Chicago has moved to one game over .500 and are beginning to find good form as they have adjusted losing the services of Derrick Rose for the entire season as the tears a ligament on his knee. Chicago returned home off a six game road trip and pounds the Atlanta Hawks 100-85 on Tuesday as a favorite. It was supposed to be a bad spot but Chicago came out hot off their six game west coast trip.
With our NBA Pro Basketball pick for Wednesday we will play on the Chicago Bulls -3 ½ points against the Brooklyn Nets but first check out the sportsbook reviews.
