The Bulls were able to win the almighty road game in Game 2 and look to continue that momentum back in Chicago. Check NBA playoff odds at Top Bet sportsbook.
Brooklyn (1-1) dominated the Bulls in Game 1 and were looking good heading into Game 2. But, when the Nets were outscored 22-11 in the third quarter, they were not able to hold serve in the Barclays Center before heading to Chicago for Game 3. Brooklyn could not make a three pointer, an atrocious 4-21 from the field. Deron Williams, the Nets superstar, scored just eight points on 1-9 shooting from the field. Williams was also 0-5 from three. WIlliams did have 10 assists but the Nets needed his scoring ability that lacked in Game 2. Brook Lopez was the high scorer for Brooklyn with 21 points and five rebounds.
The Bulls (1-1) got what they needed, a road win in this opening round series. Now, Chicago has the advantage in the series with a 1-1 tie heading back to their home town. The Bulls had five players get to double digits in Game 2. Luol Deng led the team in scoring with 15 points and also added 10 rebounds and four assists. The Bulls struggled from three as well, 3-12, but were able to force the Nets to shoot even worse which won the game for Chicago.
In this series, the Nets have covered the spread in one game (Game 1) and could not in the other (Game 2.)
I still like the Nets to win the series but I think that the Bulls will win in their first game back to Chicago. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bulls had a bit of a melt-down after winning on the road, however so to take Brooklyn Click Here.
