The Nets play in Indiana in what could be a tune up match for both of these Eastern Conference playoff teams. Check the NBA odds at Oddsmaker sportsbook.
The Brooklyn Nets (46-32) has pretty much locked up the fourth seed in the East. They sit three games behind the Pacers for third and lead the Chicago Bulls by three and a half games. It looks like the Nets will finish in fourth and will have home court advantage in the first round, against either the Bulls or the Atlanta Hawks, who are in a dead lock right now. The Nets are 6-4 in their last 10 games and have won their last three games, against the Charlotte Bobcats, Philadelphia 76ers and the Boston Celtics. Including the game with Indiana, the Nets have just four games remaining before the post season will begin.
The Pacers (49-29) were in the top three of the East for pretty much the entire season and have basically wrapped up the third spot. They are well behind the Heat and have now dropped to two and a half games behind the Knicks, who have won 13 games in a row. Indiana is 7-3 in their last 10 games and have won the Central Division already. The Pacers also have only four games left, three of them are against Eastern playoff squads, the Nets, the Knicks and the Celtics. Indiana will likely play the Bulls or the Hawks in the first round of the playoffs.
The Nets are 37-38-3 against the spread and 22-17 while on the road. The Pacers are 42-36 ATS and 22-17 ATS while playing at home.
Both teams are entering the playoffs in pretty good form but I think the Pacers will win this game because of how good they have been playing at home. Both teams play slow and it will be a defensive battle so play under the total but first read a sports book review.
