In a battle for playoff positioning in the NFC North, the Minnesota Vikings (6-4) travel to the windy city to take on the Chicago Bears (7-3) Sunday at 1:00 ET. NFL odds are available at Bovada sportsbook.
The Vikings have cooled off considerably since their 4-1 start, and now sit at 6-4 SU and 4-5-1 ATS. They did rebound nicely at home with a 10 point win versus division rival Detroit, but before that had been handled by the Seahawks and Tampa. Overall, they are 2-3 SU and 1-3-1 ATS in their last five matchups.
After starting 7-1, the Bears have dropped their last two games, and now sit at 7-3 SU and 5-5 ATS. They have really lost all three of their marquee matchups, which include games against the Packers, Texans, and Niners. They do get Cutler back this week, which should help their offense considerably.
The Bears are a 6 point favorite. While the Vikings aren’t in the same class as the Packers, Texans, or Niners, their defense is stingy and their offense is a good matchup against the Bears’ defense. The Bears shouldn’t feast off the turnovers they typically get against pass happy teams. Take the Vikings +6 in a close game at the sportsbooks.
