The Chicago Bulls have to play another season without Derrick Rose in the lineup as the tears his other knee and will miss the remainder of the season. Chicago is used to playing without Rose and what we saw last year was the Bulls slowing down the game and limiting possessions because they played good defense in the absence of Rose. Chicago played a half court offense and moved the basketball around which took a lot of time off the clock as they tried to work the ball inside. Their guards were not penetrating too deep as they did not want to give up transition points on the other end because with their offensive issues they cannot play a fast pace with teams anymore. Chicago pushed across just 82 points at the Clippers on Sunday and needed an overtime period to score 83 points in a six point defeat at the Utah Jazz where the game went under 181 points. Detroit has not been a very high scoring team but have scored some points against two bad teams in Milwaukee and Brooklyn. Prior to those two games there were held in the 80’s to the Atlanta Hawks who have size down low and can play some defense. This is the fifth straight road game for Chicago and will have a day of rest for this game with Detroit. Look for Chicago to trend to the under in the upcoming weeks as the lines maker will slowly adjust to the team who will play without Rose in the lineup.
With our NBA Pro Basketball pick for Wednesday we will play on the Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons to play under the total of 186 points but prior to wagering take a look at a sports book review.
