The Nets look to take a 2-0 lead in their opening round series after their dominating performance in Game 1 against the Bulls. Check NBA playoff odds at Bovada sportsbook.
Chicago (0-1) was dominated in the first two quarters, which made the second half virtually unnecessary. The Bulls were down 60-35 at halftime and were not able to come back from a deficit like that. Carlos Boozer led the Bulls in points, 25, rebounds, eight, and assists, four. Nate Robinson, the electric rod that he is, scored 17 points in just 20 minutes on 8-12 shooting. If the Bulls are going to be able to recover and get a precious road win in Game 2, they are going to need more from Luol Deng. Deng had just six points and shot a disastrous 3-11 from the field, and he missed both of his tries from three-point range.
The Nets (1-0) played a tremendous game with Jay-Z sitting in the front row of the Barclays Center. Deron Williams had 22 points and seven assists en route to a Game 1 victory. Brook Lopez added 21 points and had five rebounds. Lopez was a perfect 7-7 from the free throw line. Reggie Evans brought in 13 solid rebounds for the Nets in his 32 minutes of play.
The Bulls are 36-47 against the spread this year and are 0-1 in the playoffs. The Nets are 40-40-3 ATS.
I like the Nets again. The home team won all four games in the opening day of playoff games and I think that will continue in this game. The Nets had no problem with Chicago throughout the game and it really was never close at www.sportsbookroom.com.
