Chicago travels to California to take on the Warriors in a battle of two teams that will most likely find themselves in the playoffs. Check out the NBA odds at Bovada sportsbook.
The Chicago Bulls (35-29) are in a three-way tie for the fifth position in the East, which is not all that impressive compared to the West. The Bulls have struggled this year compared to the year before when Chicago held the best record in the Eastern Conference. There is one huge difference between the two seasons, however. Derrick Rose, superstar point guard and game changer for Bulls has not played yet this season after suffering a torn ACL in the first round of the playoffs last season. He has been cleared to play by the doctors but is refusing to play because he is not yet confident enough to get back on the court. Chicago has lost four of their last five and they continue their western road trip against Golden State.
The Warriors (37-29) sit in sixth in the West with some terrific shooters manning their squad. Stephen Curry is the obvious superstar who torched the Knicks in Madison Square Garden for 54 earlier this season. David Lee and Andrew Bogut lead their big men inside. Golden State has won their last two games but lost in the only meeting with Chicago this season.
Chicago is 27-37 this season ATS while Golden State is 32-33-1 respectively. After a loss, the Bulls are 15-13 and the Warriors are 15-20-1 ATS after wins. Playing away from Chicago, the Bulls are 18-14. In their home town, the Warriors are 17-14.
The Warriors are a very good home team with a 22-9 record, which is paired with a road record that sits just two games over .500 for Chicago. The Warriors have some real shooters in Curry and Klay Thompson, which can make for massive blowouts so my pick is a Golden State victory at best sports books.
