The Bulls and Heat kick start their Eastern Conference semi-final series with Game 1 in Miami. Get NBA odds at Oddsmaker sportsbook.
The Bulls (4-3) lost Game 1 to the Nets in Brooklyn but roared back by winning the next three games to take a commanding 3-1 series lead. They won Game 2 in Brooklyn and road wins in the playoffs have been hard to come by so far this post season. After jumping out to a 3-1 lead, the Nets won two in a row, including a Game 6 in Chicago, but the Bulls were able to take care of business in Game 7 in Brooklyn. It was the Bulls’ first Game 7 playoff win on the road in their history. There is talk that Derrick Rose could be back for this series but nothing is official and I am leaning towards him not playing.
The Heat (4-0) seemingly have not played a game for a week because of their quick finish against the Bucks in Round 1. They won all four games in the series and swept the Bucks for the first sweep in their Big 3 era. The Heat’s 27-game winning streak throughout the regular season was ended against the Bulls in Chicago and they are looking for some revenge in that aspect.
The Bulls are 3-4 against the spread in the playoffs while the Heat are 3-1.
The Heat will win this game at home. This series will definitely not be as easy for Miami and the Bulls are dangerous on their home floor but I can’t see the Heat losing Game 1 in Miami so first check the sports odds.
