The Chicago White Sox look to keep pace with the Detroit Tigers when they meet the Indians from US Cellular. All odds for all games can be found at Oddsmaker sportsbook.
For the Indians this season has been over for a while for all intensive purposes. It doesn’t mean though that they are not enjoying playing the role of spoiler when they have the opportunity as they did on Tuesday. They defeated the White Sox 4-3 in what was a hotly contested game. They received a stellar starting pitching effort en route to the win and will look to continue their winning ways tonight. They will pitch Justin Masterson tonight who will be looking for his second win in as many starts. Masterson has had an up-and-down season, and will look to hurt the White Sox’s playoff hopes tonight.
The White Sox have played dreadful over the past week which is obviously bad timing considering they are contending for the playoffs. They not only dropped the game yesterday to the Indians, but their offense overall has been awful for the past couple of weeks. They will be depending on quality starting pitching going forward and that will start tonight with Hector Santiago who will be making just his third career start. In limited action is actually pitched pretty decent as a starter checking out 14 batters in 9 innings overall.
The White Sox are the better team and faces a downtrodden Indians team so take Chicago at the sportsbooks.
