The White Sox are currently in last place in the AL Central, 10 games behind Detroit for first place. Hector Santiago comes in with a 1-4 record and 3.82 ERA to go with his 1.34 WHIP. In his last start in Houston he surrendered five hits and three earned runs while walking four and striking out eight. In his last five starts he has been on the road five times and has won just one of those games. His last win came June 9th against Oakland where he pitched 6 1/3 innings, giving up four hits and one earned run while walking three. The Royals, however have been great this season. They are in second place in the AL Central, 3.5 games back of the Tigers and have won six of their last ten.
