The Reds are looking to complete the three game series sweep in New York against the Mets. Check the MLB odds at Bovada sportsbook.
Cincinnati (28-18) has had a fantastic month of May but entered this series on a bit of a low note. They scorched through the beginning of the month off to a 10-3 start including a six game winning streak that occurred because of two, three game series sweeps. The Reds swept the Milwaukee Brewers and the Miami Marlins before heading in to the series with the Philadelphia Phillies. The Phillies gave the Reds their first series loss since May 6-8 when they lost two out of three to the Braves. Philadelphia took two of three from the Reds as well. But, the Reds have recovered by winning the first two games of the series with the Mets. Mat Latos, 4-0 on the year, will pitch for the series sweep.
The Mets (17-26) have not had the greatest month, like the Reds, but they have played better as of late. New York won three of their last four games heading into the series with the Reds. That can be thrown out the window now that the Mets lost the first two games to the Reds in this series and are playing Wednesday just to avoid a series sweep.
The Reds are 22-23 against the spread and the Mets are a rough 15-27 ATS.
This will be the game that the Mets finally win and end the possibility of a sweep. Matt Harvey is on the mound and he is 5-0 on the year and seemingly cannot be hit. Mets win at www.sportsbookroom.com.
