The Cleveland Indians and the Minnesota Twins will meet on Tuesday from Cleveland. All odds for this game can be found at Bovada sportsbook.
It’s been a tough year for the Indians as the moves they made in the off-season did not turn out the way they had hoped. They are in the basement of the division and are just 33 – 39 at home. Tonight they will send David Huff to the mound is only made two appearances from the bullpen this season.
The Twins have the worst record in the American League and are riding a three-game losing streak. They are 31 – 41 on the road this season and are 20 games back for the division. They will send PJ Walters to the mound who is pitching to 6.70 ERA in 45 innings of work this season.
Cleveland is 14-42 in their last 56 games overall, 2-9 in their last 11 home games, and 10-25 in their last 35 games following a win. Minnesota is 1-5 in their last six games overall, 5-12 in their last 17 road games, and 1-4 in Walters’ last five starts after allowing five or more runs in their previous game. Minnesota is 10-2 in the last 12 meetings of these two.
As we venture into September expect to see a lot of unfamiliar faces for these two teams as they bring of guys from the minors. We will take Cleveland as a moneyline favorite although we are not 100% sure what to expect at the sports books.
