The San Diego Padres will meet the Colorado Rockies tonight from Coors Field. All odds for all games can be found at Top Bet sportsbook.
In the middle part of the season people would’ve thought it would’ve been impossible for the San Diego Padres to get to the .500 mark. They are quickly becoming the hottest team in baseball and are striving to get back to the Mendoza line. They won 8-2 versus Atlanta on Wednesday to make it 9 wins in 10 games and they have gotten equal production from both a solid lineup and pitching staff. Tonight San Diego will start left-hander Clayton Richard who has lost 4 of his last 5 starts. Over that stretch he has allowed just four runs in 32 innings pitched.
It is also too late for the Rockies to make an impact in the division but they have won seven of their last 10 games. They did lose 10-8 to the Dodgers on Wednesday but the offense has continued to hit well while the pitching has gotten significantly better in this 10 game stretch. The Rockies will start Alex White who is looking to end a 10 game personal winless streak. In that span he is gone 0-3 with seven no decisions and has only made it past the fifth inning twice.
These are two of the worst teams in baseball which makes this game difficult to pick. We however love the roll San Diego is on right now and will take them as a slight moneyline favorite on the road but first check sports odds.
