For Wednesday’s game San Francisco starts Tim Lincecum who has allowed more than three runs just once in his last eight starts. For the season Lincecum has allowed 163 hits and 93 earned runs while striking out 169 over 163.2 innings of work for a 5.11 ERA.
Colorado is 1-6 in their last seven games as an underdog, 6-2 in their last eight games as a home underdog, and 4-1 in Francis’ last five starts on four days rest. San Francisco is 10-3 in their last 13 games as a road favorite, 5-2 in their last seven games against a left handed starter, and 4-0in Lincecum’s last four road starts. The Giants are 26-10 in the last 36 meetings of these two.
