The Warriors have a chance to eliminate the Nuggets in Game 6 in Oakland. This has been one of the most exciting first round matchups of this playoffs. Get NBA playoff odds at Bovada sportsbook.
The Nuggets (2-3) took care of business and put the pressure on the Warriors to take care of their own home court. Denver was a lot more physical in Game 5 and made a chippy series a little more chippy. Kenneth Faried has been accused of playing cheap when it comes to Stephen Curry and tripping him in the lane. Andre Iguodala led the Nuggets with a tremendous game in Game 5. Iguodala had 25 points to go along with 12 rebounds and seven assists, nearing a triple-double. Ty Lawson has been incredible this series and scored 19 points and also had 10 assists.
The Warriors (3-2) have become one of my favorite teams to watch this post season. I love their young, energetic style and the fact that they love to shoot the three ball with a bunch of shooters on the floor. Harrison Barnes, a rookie, scored 23 points and had nine rebounds. Jarrett Jack scored 20 and the team was not really in the game for much of it but stormed back in the fourth quarter and made it a close one.
Golden State has covered the spread in every single game this series. They are 5-0.
I love the Warriors. I think they will beat the Nuggets in Game 6 to advance and they will give the Spurs a run in the second round of the Western Conference playoffs at the sportsbook.
