The Nuggets are streaking themselves and take on New Orleans to extend the streak to 16. Find NBA odds at Bovada sportsbook.
The Nuggets (49-22) have a streak that nobody is talking about. Their mark of 15 wins in a row is overshadowed by the Heat’s remarkable 26 game streak. During these 15 games, Denver has taken down the Thunder twice, Clippers and Lakers. Their run and gun style is hard to defend when you have super athletic big men running the floor with blazing fast guards. This is their third time playing New Orleans this year and have won both of those games. Denver is just 17-19 on the road but are still sitting in third in the Western Conference.
The Hornets (24-26), on the other hand, have been pretty bad this year. They are on a streak of their own, but it is just two wins. But the Hornets won just three of their last 10 games. They do have some young talent but it needs to be developed into the NBA. At home, the Hornets are an awful 14-21. Eric Gordon and Ryan Anderson lead the team in scoring, averaging almost 17 points per game. Rookie Anthony Davis is averaging 13 points and eight rebounds in his first season as a pro.
Against the spread the Nuggets are 43-28 and the Hornets are 35-35. On the road, Denver is 19-17 and New Orleans is 16-19 ATS at home. After victories, Denver is 30-18 and the Hornets are 11-12 in the same situation.
The streak will continue like the Heat’s will. Denver is too good and New Orleans is, well, too bad so bet the Nuggets and visit www.sportsbookroom.com.
