The Nuggets take on the Oklahoma City Thunder in a battle of two teams battling for the top four seeds in the Western Conference. Get NBA odds at Top Bet sportsbook.
The Miami Heat have reached 23 straight victories which is the second longest in NBA History. The Nuggets (46-22) are putting a streak together of their own but very under the radar. Denver, after their overtime win in Chicago, have now won 12 games in a row. Their run and gun style offense has been extremely difficult to stop with their stable of young, athletic players that can get up and down the court with great efficiency and speed. Kenneth Faried would be the epitome of the way the Denver Nuggets play basketball. A fierce big man that has the athleticism to run up and down the court with most guards and with the jumping ability to get his head above the rim with ease.
The Thunder (50-17) are now the third team in the NBA to hit the 50-win plateau and sit second place in the super competitive Western Conference, trailing just the San Antonio Spurs. Oklahoma City is also an extremely young and athletic team with players like Russell Westbrook, who can jump out of a gym, and Serge Ibaka who has the athleticism much like Faried. The Thunder have won three in a row, with two of them coming at home where they are 30-4.
Against the spread, the Nuggets are 42-25 and the Thunder are 40-25-2. On the road, Denver is 18-16 while OKC is 24-10 at home.
This is a really tough choice but the Thunder are my pick to end Denver’s streak. I love the way both of these teams play but Denver on the road the day after winning an overtime game on the road as well. Fatigue might set in with this young squad so to take OKC Click Here.
