Denver travels to Utah to take on the Jazz who are fighting for their playoff lives as the season winds down to its waning moments. NBA odds can be found at Bovada sportsbook.
The Nuggets (50-24) have now hit the 50-win plateau as they close in on their 3-seed in the West. They are the fourth team in the NBA to get to 50 wins and would play the Houston Rockets if the season ended right now. Denver is coming off a victory at home to the Brooklyn Nets, a place they almost never lose; the Nuggets are 33-3 playing in Denver. Before that, the Nuggets lost two in a row, both away from home, against the Hornets and the West-leading Spurs. The Nuggets are streaking at the most opportune time, at the end of the season, by winning 16 of their last 18 games. Denver is tied with the Memphis Grizzlies for third and the Clippers sit a game and a half behind the pair.
The Jazz (39-36) are playing the most important games of their season. They are in a huge fight for the last playoff spot in the Western Conference with the Los Angeles Lakers, led by Kobe Bryant and company. Utah has won five games in a row to get back into the thick of things and lead the Lakers by a half game entering Tuesday’s night’s action.
Denver is 45-29 against the spread, a record that is well above the NBA average and they are 20-18 on the road. Utah is 39-35-1 ATS and a solid 23-14 at home.
Denver is pretty poor on the road, just 17-21, and the Jazz are playing for their playoff lives. This is a tough choice to make but I am still going to take Denver despite all of this at www.sportsbookroom.com.
