The Oakland Athletics and the Detroit Tigers meet again on Wednesday from Oakland. MLB odds can be found at Top Bet sportsbook.
Detroit played sloppy baseball for a lot of the 2012 regular-season, put it together late, and captured the American League Central title. They also captured the first two games of their series with Oakland which was followed by loss in game three. With the 2-1 series lead they still just need one game in order to advance to the ALCS. For game four they will start Max Scherzer who has had success over the A’s this season. He has pitched eight innings versus the A’s this season and has only let up three runs.
Oakland came up big in game three and saved their season with a win. They did so behind the arm of Brett Anderson who was brilliant just allowing two runs over six innings and yielding no runs. The Athletics will need to get more production out of their offense though if they want to have a chance to win this series. For game four they will start AJ Griffin who will again look to keep the Athletics from being eliminated. He was hit pretty hard in his only start against the Tigers this season allowing five runs in four innings of work.
The line for this game just came out and we like Oakland to force a game five in this series with sportsbook betting.
