The San Francisco Giants and the Detroit Tigers will square off in game four of the World Series tonight. MLB odds can be found at Bovada sportsbook.
In game three the Giants pitching staff put on a brilliant performance in a 2-0 win against the Tigers. Ryan Vogelsong was the star of the night pitching 5+ scoreless innings and Tim Lincecum came in to give the Giants another 2 innings plus of shutout ball. If the Giants win tonight they will win their second World Series in three years and will look to ace pitcher Matt Cain to make that happen. Cain is coming off his best start of the postseason in game seven versus St. Louis in the NLCS.
The Detroit offense has been stagnant and nonexistent during the first three games of the series and will need to wake up if they want to live to play another day. In game three the Tigers received a quality pitching performance from Anibal Sanchez, but did not get him the run support he needed. Tonight Detroit will pitch Max Scherzer who has been very solid in his two postseason starts thus far. He has allowed just one run in 11 innings so far this postseason.
The importance of this game for the Tigers obviously goes without saying. We actually expect Scherzer to come out and pitch very well with the season on the line. Give us Detroit on the moneyline in this game with sportsbook betting.
