The Tigers and the Pirates will finish their four game series in Pittsburgh on Thursday. Check MLB odds at Top Bet sportsbook.
The Tigers (29-22) are looking to even up this series after losing two of the first three games. All three of the games have been close – none of them were decided by more than two runs – and they started with a Tigers victory in Detroit by the score of 6-5. After that first game, though, Detroit has now lost two in a row, with each team having a home game in those matchups. The Tigers will get one more game in Pittsburgh before heading to Baltimore to open up a series with the Orioles, who are playing some good baseball right about now.
The Pirates (33-20) are playing exceptional baseball right about now and have backed that up with some very important wins. Pittsburgh has a remarkable record of 15 wins to just four losses in their last 19 games. They have not really put many sweeps together, they just seemingly always win two of the three games in a normal series. They have taken the two already from the Tigers and look to make it three in the final game of the series. One of the wins came in the 11th inning when they scored the only run of the game.
The Tigers have earned themselves a 25-26 record against the spread while their opponents, the Pirates, have a tremendous 34-19 record ATS.
The Pirates are playing a way that is almost unmatched by most of the other teams in the Majors and that will continue on Thursday. Pirates win and to take them Click Here.
