The Tigers and the Rangers are beginning a four game series in Texas on Thursday. MLB odds are displayed at Top Bet sportsbook.
Detroit (22-16) is playing for the tenth day in a row on Thursday against the Rangers and will have to play three more against Texas after. The Tigers have themselves six games over .500 after taking two out of three games from the Astros in their last series. Miguel Cabrera is hitting .369 and has 41 RBI’s in his blistering start to the season. Cabrera is leading the Tigers in both of those statistics. Justin Verlander will start for the Tigers on Thursday. Verlander is the Tigers ace and a top pitcher in the Majors and is 4-3 in his eight starts this season. He has a very good ERA of 1.93 and the Tigers won four of the games that Verlander has started in.
The Rangers (26-14) are one of the best teams in the AL right now and are currently sitting at the top of the American League West. Texas has now won six of their last seven games and both of their last two against the Oakland Athletics. The Rangers seem to be in much better position than the Angels, who now have Josh Hamilton. Yu Darvish, who was one out away from a perfect game, will pitch for the Rangers in a monumental pitching duel.
The Tigers are 20-18 against the spread and the Rangers are 19-21 ATS.
This is the pitching matchup of the year in this game and I am going to give the edge to Yu Darvish and the Rangers and to take Texas Click Here.
