The series shifts to Oakland as the Warriors host the Nuggets in a pivotal Game 3 of their first round series. Find NBA playoff odds at Oddsmaker sportsbook.
Despite the absence of their All-Star in David Lee, the Golden State Warriors managed to even the series against the Denver Nuggets behind a hot shooting display, running away with a 131-117 victory in Game 2 on Tuesday night. The Warriors didn’t miss a beat with Lee, shooting a franchise playoff-record setting 64.6 percent (51-79) from the field, led by Stephen Curry’s 30 points and 13 assists. Jarrett Jack, who started in place of Lee, also poured in 26 of his own while rookie Harrison Barnes had a career-high 24.
It remains to be seen if the Nuggets can take back control of the series by winning a game on the road in Golden State. Perhaps if they get hot like the Warriors did in Game 2 in Denver we could be talking about a series that may go the distance of 7 games.
The Warriors are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Nuggets on the other hand are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600, 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games following a double-digit loss at home.
I really like the energy that I expect the home crowd to give the Warriors tonight and like them to win outright as a home underdog tonight in Game 3 at best online sportsbooks.
