The Houston Astros and the Milwaukee Brewers begin their weekend series tonight from Miller Park. MLB odds are posted at Bovada sportsbook.
Boy it has been a tough season for the Houston Astros. They currently have the worst record in baseball and are clearly just playing the string out at this point as they have for sometime now. It is tough to see even any minor improvements to have made throughout the year and there are very few bright spots to build for next season. Tonight they will pitch Edgar Gonzalez who is actually coming off being injured as last start so just pretty interesting he would even be pitching tonight. In his last start he lasted only 1.2 innings before being pulled.
This season has been pretty interesting for the Brewers to say the least. They will not be returning to the playoffs, due to a slow first half of the season. They did rebound though in a big way in the second half actually made a good run at the wild-card that looks as though it will be coming up short. They were dealt a pretty serious blow yesterday losing 2-1 and will look to rebound tonight behind the arm of your Yovani Gallardo. Gallardo has been one of the best pitchers in baseball in his last 10 starts. He is gone 7-0in those 10 starts and his team has won all of the games during that 10 game stretch.
The Brewers are in must win mode as they sit for games out in the wild-card with six to play. With a hot guy art on the mound we will take Milwaukee as a moneyline favorite in this game at online sportsbook usa.
