The Houston Astros are struggling once again this season and they looked simply overmatched on Tuesday against the Orioles. Brandon Barnes had two hits and Jose Altuve, J.D. Martinez, and Jimmy Paredes all had hits as the Astros scored one run on five hits. The Astros start Dallas Keuchel on Wednesday who has won two of his last three starts. For the season Keuchel has allowed 59 hits and 27 earned runs while striking out 30 over 47.2 innings for a 2-2 record and a 5.10 ERA.

The Baltimore Orioles are right in the thick of the race in the AL East and they didn’t lose any ground on leaders on Tuesday when all of the top teams in the division won. On Tuesday Danny Valencia hit a home run and J.J. Hardy and Ryan Flaherty each had two hits as the Orioles scored four runs on eight hits. The Orioles will start Freddie Garcia who has won his last two starts. For the season Garcia has allowed 30 hits and 14 earned runs while striking out 15 over 35.1 innings for a 2-2 record and a 3.57 ERA.
