The Houston Rockets (2-2) take on the Memphis Grizzlies (3-1) Friday night at 8:00 ET. NBA odds are at Oddsmaker sportsbook.
After opening the season with two wins on the road, the Rockets have lost their last two games at home, dropping games to Portland and Denver, going 2-2 ATS. Their offensive production has fallen off a cliff in the process as well. During their two road wins, the Rockets averaged 107 points per game, but then in their two home losses, they averaged 86 points per game. It is hard to explain the 20 point drop in production.
Memphis lost their opener on the road against the Clippers, but since has run off three straight wins against Golden State, Utah, and Milwaukee, going 3-1 ATS. Three of their first four games on the season have been on the road, but three of their next four games are at home.
Memphis is a 7 point home favorite. Memphis has been on a hot streak of late, but Houston is a different team on the road. Not saying the Rockets will win, but they should keep it close, take Houston with the 7 points at best online sportsbooks.
