The Pacers and Hawks play in Atlanta for a crucial Game 6. The Pacers will have a chance to end the series but the home team has won every game in the series and they all were by double digits.
The Pacers (3-2) dropped the third and fourth games of the series in Atlanta but were able to bounce back in Game 5 on their home court. The Pacers won by 23 behind Paul George who is arguably the best player in this series and has been putting up massive numbers almost every night. George had 21 points, ripped down 10 rebounds and had five assists as well. David West led the team in scoring with 24 points and was able to get five rebounds to go along with that. Roy Hibbert, George Hill and D.J. Augustin also finished the game in double figures.
The Hawks (2-3) are now facing elimination but I would imagine that they wouldn’t be too nervous heading into this game because of their success at home earlier in this series. They have dominated the Pacers in Games 3 and 4 in the ATL. In Game 5, however, they struggled. Al Horford scored 14 points and had nine rebounds.
The Hawks are 2-3 against the spread in this series and have covered the spread in both games in Atlanta.
I give the Hawks the obvious edge in this game because of being able to play on their home floor. This series is going to go seven games at www.sportsbookroom.com.
