The Pacers travel to the heart of Texas to take on the Rockets in a matchup of two playoff teams. Check out the NBA odds at Top Bet sportsbook.
Indiana (44-27) is still tied for second place in the Eastern Conference with the New York Knicks but have virtually no chance at the top seed because they are each 12 and a half games behind the Miami Heat. Indiana is 6-4 in their last 10 games, which is better or the same as all but three teams in the East. The two obvious teams would be the Heat (10-0) and the Nets (7-3), but the third team is a little more surprising. The Wizards are actually 7-3 in their last 10. With that said, Indiana has struggled on the road, despite their impressive overall record. The Pacers are just 15-19 on the road this season.
The Rockets (39-31) have been one of the better stories this year. After missing out on Dwight Howard, the Rockets picked up Jeremy Lin and James Harden in the offseason. Those two acquisitions have been absolutely huge for the Rockets this season. Harden averages more than 26 points per game while Lin averages 13 points and six assists. Young Chandler Parsons is upwards of 15 points per game as well. Houston is on a three-game win streak including the latest, a one-point win over San Antonio. Houston is 7-3 in their last 10 and are sitting in seventh in the West.
Against the spread, the Indiana Pacers are 39-32 and 17-17 on the road. The Rockets are 39-31 ATS and a solid 25-10 at home against the spread.
I am going to pick the Rockets to win at home. They are hot heading into this game and have a lot of different ways that they can score and have some real playmakers and shooters to compliment so to take Houston Click Here.
