The Pacers and the Heat kick off the Eastern Conference Finals in Miami on Wednesday. Check NBA odds at Bovada sportsbook.
The Pacers (0-0) had some difficulty with the New York Knicks in the last round but they were able to bounce them in Game 6 in Indiana. The two entered the final quarter knotted up and the Knicks had a couple of chances to really take the game but they could not convert. Lance Stephenson had a great game for the Pacers in the final game with 25 points, 10 rebounds and a huge steal from Carmelo Anthony that led to a lay-up and a foul. Paul George added 23 points, five rebounds and four assists in yet another good all-around game. The third member of the Pacers that was able to reach 20 points in Game 6 was Roy Hibbert. Hibbert had 21 points and 12 huge rebounds, not to mention five blocks. Hibbert’s block in the fourth quarter on Anthony was huge for the Pacers’ victory.
The Heat (0-0) cruised through the series with the Chicago Bulls after dropping the first game in Miami. They came back by winning four games in a row and ended it in five games. Miami has only played nine games this postseason heading into the Indiana series.
The Pacers are now 8-4 against the spread in the playoffs while the Heat are now 6-3 in their postseason.
I have total confidence in the Heat to win this series in five games, or at the most, six. It begins in Miami. Heat win Game 1 so take a look at some sportsbook reviews.
