The Eastern Conference semi-finals will be kicked off by the Pacers and the New York Knicks in Madison Square Garden on Sunday. Check NBA odds at Oddsmaker sportsbook.
The Pacers (4-2) were able to beat the Hawks in Atlanta in Game 6. That game was the first game of the series that either team were able to win a game on the road. Also, Game 6 was the first game of the series that the outcome was actually less than 10 points, the Hawks won by 8, 81-73. Roy Hibbert scored 17 points and had 11 rebounds in Game 6. David West and George Hill each scored 21 points to lead the team in scoring. Finally, the Pacers were able to help out Paul George, who did not have a great game. George only scored four points in 44 minutes on 2-10 shooting.
The Knicks (4-2) were given a series after those first three games but the Knicks were able to close out the Celtics in Boston in Game 6. New York had a huge lead for pretty much the whole game before the Celtics went on a 20-0 run in the second half to cut the deficit down to four points. New York held on and advanced.
The Pacers are 4-2 against the spread in the playoffs while the Knicks are 3-3.
I think the Knicks will start things off with a victory on their home floor. This has the potential to be an absolutely fascinating series with these two teams and I am looking forward to what happens. New York takes Game 1 but first claim sportsbook promo codes.
