The Knicks and the Pacers battle in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals in New York after the Pacers took Game 1. Find NBA odds at Oddsmaker sportsbook.
Indiana (1-0) was able to defeat the testy Atlanta Hawks in the first round of the playoffs in six games. After their win in Atlanta, the Pacers set their sights on the Knicks and took Game 1 in Madison Square Garden. The Pacers used huge second and third quarters to dismantle the Knicks in MSG. The Pacers outscored the Knicks by a combined 21 points and were able to hold them off in the fourth. David West scored 20 points for the Pacers and they were also helped by 19 points from Paul George. George also had five rebounds and four assists. D.J. Augustin came off the bench and scored 16 points in just 13 minutes on 5-6 shooting.
This loss really hurts the Knicks (0-1), who now must win a game in Indiana for them to have a chance at winning this series. Carmelo Anthony scored 27 points and had 11 rebounds on a night when he was not shooting well, at 10-28. Raymond Felton scored 18 and the Sixth Man of the Year, J.R. Smith added 17 more.
Indiana covered the spread in the first game of this playoff series and is 5-2 ATS in the playoffs.
This is a huge game for the Knicks and for them to have a shot in this series, they need to win Game 2, and I believe the Pacers will cover this spread so first read a sports book review.
