The Knicks are facing elimination on their home floor in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinals. Indiana has three chances to close New York out. NBA playoff odds are found at Oddsmaker sportsbook.
Indiana (3-1) is almost having a best-case scenario type of series right now and have put themselves in great position to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals against the Miami Heat. After an 11-point win in Game 4, the Pacers own a 3-1 lead and need just one victory to oust the second-seeded Knicks. Paul George had yet another wonderful game in Game 4 when he scored 18 points, had 14 rebounds and seven assists. It seems like every other game George is flirting with a triple-double. George Hill led the Pacers in scoring with 26 points and five players finished in double figures.
New York (1-3) is not in a very good position and that is what happens in a playoff series in which you cannot win all of your home games. The Knicks have lost their home court advantage but still have hope. J.R. Smith has recently taken all the blame for this series and he scored 19 points in Game 4 on just 7-22 shooting. He definitely has not been efficient enough whatsoever and if they are going to have a chance at this comeback, it needs to start with Smith.
Indiana is now 7-3 against the spread in the postseason while the Knicks are 4-6 ATS.
I am not counting the Knicks out of this yet. It is a hard hill to climb but they will win Game 5 in New York but first check the sports odds.
