Indiana and Temple are matched up fighting for a Sweet 16 bid in the Round of 32. Check the NCAA Tournament odds at Bovada sportsbook.
Indiana (28-6) have been my favorite to win the National Championship since the beginning of the year. They have an all around team that can get scoring from inside and out and some dynamic players that can do more than almost anyone in the country. Victor Oladipo is an absolute stud with the athleticism unmatched in the country and the ability to score that can only be compared to somebody like Trey Burke. Cody Zeller is quite the mismatch inside with his ability to post up on the block and then hit the mid-range jump shot and run the floor. Indiana was the regular season champions of the best conference in all of basketball, the Big Ten, and was named a 1-seed in the Big Dance. Indiana crushed James Madison by more than 20 points and are well on their way to a Sweet 16 bid.
Temple (24-9) is another one of the Philadelphia teams who made the tournament this season and have now advanced to the round of 32. Temple was an underdog to NC State in the first round but never really had that much trouble with them. Temple finished in the top three of the super competitive Atlantic 10 conference this season.
Indiana is 17-15 against the spread this season but did not cover the spread in their first game with James Madison. Temple is 15-16 ATS and did cover against North Carolina State.
As much as a part of me wants to pick Temple, Indiana is obviously the safe pick to win the game and advance to the Sweet 16 at online sports books.
