The current wagering odds from Monday Night Football have the road side Indianapolis Colts favored by -1 points with an over under total lined at 50 points. Those wagering on the Colts on the money line will lay -115 odds and a wager on the San Diego Chargers will bring back -105 odds on the money line.
The Colts will be riding an impressive three game win streak as they head into San Diego. The team has tallied up victories at San Francisco and Jacksonville and last week defeated Seattle 34-28 to complete the three game win streak. It was a physical battle last week for the Colts at Seattle and it could impact the team’s performance as they face the fired up Chargers in an electric atmosphere in their home stadium. The Chargers have been up and down this season. They are 2-3 on the season and can ill afford to lose ground in the playoff chase. They had a miserable performance last week dropping a 27-17 road decision at the Oakland Raiders as a -5 ½ point favorite. The Chargers were their own worst enemy as they turned the football over five times with Phillip Rivers throwing three picks. This Chargers team behind Phillip Rivers has a lot of fight and despite the setbacks were still within reach of the Raiders last Sunday night. San Diego does have impressive victories on the season with a road win at Philadelphia and two weeks ago they pounded the Dallas Cowboys 30-21 as a +1 point underdog. Rivers in that win against the Cowboys threw for 401 yards and three touchdowns and the team finished with a even turnover margin. It was back to back weeks for Rivers to throw for over 400 yards but the difference in that home win is they had four less turnovers than in the Oakland Game. The Chargers have been very competitive in their games this season.
With our NFL pro football pick for Monday Night Football we will play on the San Diego Chargers at +1 point at the sportsbooks.
