The Royals fell behind early on Monday and they never got close in a loss to the Mariners. Jonathan Sanchez struggled and only lasted one inning letting up seven earned runs. The Mariners have also struggled this season and took out some of those frustrations on the Royals on Monday. They belted out 11 hits and scored nine runs and all and will look to Blake Beavan who has losses in his last two starts takes the hill on Tuesday to keep the good play going. Beavan has allowed 77 hits in 62 innings and he has a 5.92 ERA to show for it.
