The Royals are looking for another win against the Angels in the final game of the series in Los Angeles. Find MLB odds at Bovada sportsbook.
Kansas City (19-16 entering Tuesday) finally was able to get a win under their belt against the Angels on Monday after being swept in a three game series by the New York Yankees. Heading into this series with the Angels, the Royals only won one game in their previous seven and obviously struggling mightily. In the first game of the series with Los Angeles, the Royals scored 11 runs and defeated the Angels by the score of 11-4. KC roughed up Joe Blanton of the Angels, who is now 0-7 this year. Wade Davis is getting the start for the Royals on Wednesday and Davis has not been great lately. He kicked the season off with a 2-0 start in three starts but has since been 0-3 in his last four. Davis now has an ERA of 5.86.
The Angels (14-24 entering Tuesday) looked as if they were losing control of their season after their four game losing streak to put their record at 11-22. Since, Los Angeles was able to get three games back in a row but then lost two more. Joe Blanton continues to give them fits after giving up seven earned runs in not even five complete innings. Blanton is now 0-7 this year.
The Royals are 20-15 against the spread while the lowly Angels are now just 15-23 ATS.
My pick is the Royals on Wednesday despite Davis’ struggles lately. The Angels have been incredibly bad this year and Kansas City could be fighting for the playoffs in a couple of months at www.sportsbookroom.com.
